Grammy® award winner and music legend McCoy Tyner, and Grammy Nominated violinist
Regina Carter and the one only Bobby “Blue” Bland will headline the 2011 South Shore
Annual JazzFest. This year’s line-up includes national and local musician including,
jazz vocalist Mary Stallings, Chicago’s Orbert Davis, Dee Alexander and Curtis Robinson
will also join the stage. The Chicago Afro Latin Jazz Ensemble, the King High School
Band and the Park District Band will round out this year’s star-studded entertainment.

The 31st Annual South Shore JazzFest
JazzUnites Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization has showcased some of the
world’s top jazz musicians. Through the efforts of JazzUnites, Inc. Founder Geraldine
deHaas, JazzUnites Inc. has continued to produce free public concerts to bring America’s
classic and singular art form jazz to multi-cultural audiences. Since 1981, JazzUnites,
Inc. has continuously exposed new and legendary talent in the jazz arena.
